No, I’ve not made enough money from putting ads on my site to purchase myself a lovely MAC BOOK PRO. Apparently one only derives funds from ads that are clicked. And I will admit to not being much of an ad clicker myself — why would anyone else step up to the plate for me! However, becoming a part of the BlogHer Ads Network has brought a lot of new traffic to my little blog.
A lot more than I expected. So, yes, I am pleased. Plus I’ve been introduced to many more good reads. It’s given me some nice community feelings. So I’m staying on as long as they’ll have me! It’s been a successful mutual undertaking despite the lack of revenue production.
It’s just the old girl is whining and tsking in everything we do together. She got really nasty when I was working on MY FIRST FLASH MOVIE! Some time ago I moved so much from her drive to an external drive, but still she moans and groans.
I gave in and took out a little signature loan for her replacement. This morning I received notice in my email that it was shipped yesterday. (Picture goodness coming soon!)
I’m keeping the speakers, though. I’ve had them for some time and even use them with my old discman. So they still have plenty of life left!
