We did it! Lily and I went for a successful walk around the block!
No pulling! She only tried to get me to go back home twice — and that was really as we were leaving the porch and then walking on the front sidewalk away from the house.
And she participated in the walk! For the first time. EVER!
I mean she was looking around, stopping to sniff things on the ground, trying to lead me up into other pholks yard because she saw something interesting!
Lily and I went for our first real walk today
I used both Premier products together — the easy walk harness and the gentle leader headcollar! And it resulted in our best walk ever.
I’m so happy
I only took her around the block, not wanting to push her and all, but I’ll take her out again later for another walk.
I thought of trying them both together earlier, but I was really trying to get away from the headcollar because Lily seemed to hate it so. This time when I put it on and then attached her leash to both I got a much different reaction.
I am so happy! Not being able to enjoy a walk with Lily was really getting me down. I don’t even know if anyone could understand how desperately I wanted to walk with my dog.
It was just amazing!
FINALLY!
Soon I will be trying the SpraySense product because Lily barks and barks and barks!
