Yes! The ɹǝƃƃolquǝʞoʇ has blundered upon a purse that she likes!
If you've been reading my blog then you surely know by now that I am a backpack kinda girl (and that green is my most favorite color). I've been using all forms of small backpacks for a "purse," for over thirty years. Before than I recall using one of those underarm clutches, a purse made from old jeans, and one of those bags with the huge plastic shoulder rings.
I'm pretty sure those are all bags from the '70's.
And then two weeks ago I discovered these Coldwater Creek pebbled leather crossbody organizer bags. The front pocket you see above has a snap closure. There is also a pocket on the back side (see pictures below) that is just a slide. I use that one for my cell phone so that it rests against my hip and I can hear or feel the phone ring when I'm wearing the bag (and then I can pull the phone out with ease).
The straps on these bags are longer than most — so essential for us tall and quite plumpy ladies. And because this is a "crossbody" bag, I'm not wearing the purse on my shoulders which would only aggravate my arthritic shoulders.
And Oh! My! Goodness!
These clever bags come in a multitude of colors. I've managed to find the lime green (above) the orange, and teal versions. And because these bags came and went in 2006 ( The ɹǝƃƃolquǝʞoʇ is such a slave to fashion, you know!) I've been searching the internet for the other colors.
Would you help? I already have these:
Lime Green Orange Teal
And I know there are also these (that I want, too):
Brown Baby Blue Purple
Black Mint Green
I think there might be navy blue, red, yellow, and pink bags, too. It doesn't really matter, I want one in every color I (or you) may come upon. They ship for $5.00 in just a padded envelope. And I've been seeing them offered for $10, $15, & $20. And I am only wanting the Coldwater Creek models that look the same on both sides — except for the straps.
It is my intention to obtain all of the colors I can and then to never have to buy a purse again!
Should you come across one in a color I don't have, shoot me an email, PLEASE!

I'll keep this post up to date as I obtain more colors.
THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!!
