…than my Dad's "dsl lite." DSL Lite is better than direct dial, but I'm so spoiled at my home what with being able to have two different browsers open, each with separate tabs doing whatever, and my husband (my son, too, before he got his own place) doing pretty much the same thing on his computer, and neither of us slowing each other down.
DSL Lite doesn't compare to cable broadband.
I washed the clothes I wore yesterday because I wanted to wear them today and within the first 15 minutes of getting dressed I managed to get crap on my shirt that I couldn't get out with a baby wipe. Crap.
Kroger has dropped the "Private Selection" label from these premium fruit bars, but hubby and I still managed to find them at a local store (while I'm here at Dad's house). I don't know why they changed the name, but the fruit bars are still the most delicious (even the no sugar added ones) of any I've tried.
I may have discovered the best way to enjoy them, too. Remove one from freezer and lay aside on the counter while you go about doing other things for 10-15 minutes (provided you have A/C and it's summer and you're in the house). Then come back to eat.
Those few minutes let the bar get a little softer and easier to bite into without getting that icky feeling on your teeth that makes you feel like you've just heard the sound of styrofoam being rubbed together.
The sound of styrofoam being rubbed together doesn't bother you? Guess you're one of those that gets bothered by a chalkboard scraping noise. Well you guys can just eat them straight out of the freezer.
Carry on.
