…the Dovely baby?

About one week old:

Six months:

Her adopted family lives close by so I see her fairly often.  I took this photo of her in March:

She'll be starting Kindergarten this fall. 

It's true that things do get better with time. 

Still, sometimes when I see her?  My very soul aches.

It's always good to see her.
