The Darling Husband…

1 July 2012

…is really working hard on our home.

I don't do ladders so my work is limited to how high I can reach.  Hubby has a really nice ladder, a little giant, that I bought for him as a house warming gift when we found this house.

Next week I've got a guy, that E! recommended, coming to look at a corner porch/post area problem and soon a mason will be here to redo those steps.

Since we've started the exterior work and painting hubby has decided he needed a few more little giant things to make his work easier.  He already had the ladder, this, and two of these, but he said he needed this and this to do the job easier — and having them will also help out with interior painting (when the time comes). He's the one willing to do anything ladder work, so of course, I got those for him right away!

Last weekend he came to me with the idea that having a tool belt would really help him be even more efficient.  I cringed, thinking that a good one would be really, really expensive.  After shopping the internet I found out that a rugged leather tool belt is not so pricey.

And then I found this gently used one on eBay:

toolbelt

It was dirt cheap and free shipping, too!  Gently used?  Hubby thinks it may have never been used.

He loved it — and it was Lily approved, too!

Men in toolbelts look sexy.  Now, you leave him alone Lee, and let him do his work!
